  1. This is my favorite of your 3 Mullaghmore pictures. There is something about the balance between the stacked rocks, the large hill (also rock?) in the background and the trees that makes it feel complete.

    • The large hill is a limestone ‘mountain’, a place that to me and many others has a sacred feel to it. No signposts or anything leading to it, either you know your way or stumble upon it (which is quite unlikely) πŸ™‚ Makes it the more special.
Balance it is a good description, everything feels balanced there with a profound stillness, even in strong wind, this was a rare day and it does give one a feeling of being complete after having walked there…. I’m happy it’s transferred. Thank you Annette for sharing your sense of it.

Such intriguing landscapes you have with word and eye.
The arc of rock wall mirroring the arc of mountain, very nice composition.

    • Ehk, it’s good to hear from you again!
I am very intrigued by this landscape. This day I spent at least 7 hours up there hiking around and on my way back at sunset I saw this. It was breathtaking and the stillness vibrating inside for days after. If I can add a few words that lives up to the image, I feel something is completed, but sometimes the image is complete in itself and wish not to disturb them (which I somehow think these are, to me at least) however this place stirrs much I want to express, I tried to keep it simple though, the images calls for that simplicity. Most is to be found in between the lines…

  4. Hanne-your recent photography is absolutely incredible! From an artists eye it is enchanting, and welcomes that ancient feeling of something hidden. From my geology background I want to go out there and take a closer look. πŸ™‚ Love the poem you included to capture its essence! We seem to both be dreamers in windows and doors-welcoming magic into our hearts. Our connection continues! ❀ So nice to see you again, Dear One.
