do we really know
what is up
and what is down?
on the world
Does it hurt
to be still
and to look
Ireland landscape nature photography poetry reflections simplicity
Beautiful up-and-down perspectives and reflections. Like a breath of fresh air in the morning. A good scene to wake up to.
Thank you Dina (Hanne) it’s how I felt this morning writing and posting it, I’m happy it’s transferred through cyber-space 🙂
Do our sights have feelings? Just look and enjoy the beauty. Lovely poem, Hanne.
P.S. Can I give you another award in the future?
Thanks 🙂 another award, madness lol I’m not sure I can get into the posting another re this, but on the other hand I might do what you did, collect and choose one for each, if it works for you? Your choice 🙂
Love those still waters that make these reflections crystal clear. I also enjoyed your poem – do we really know what’s up and down?
Thank you for your kind and reflective comment.
Love the razor-sharp reflection; no ripple around. It dematerializes the rocks and in the 2nd shot the ‘matter’ seems to fly high above the earth. Suits your words quite well!
Harrie, thanks you so much. Your comment is very encouraging. Will you believe, first photo is actually turned upside down 😉
:D. I felt there was something ‘wrong’; but I thought one of the shots was mirrored, for what ever reason. That it was turned upside down never got to my mind. Knowing this, I think the shots go perfect with your poem. And from my experience I would like to add: do we really know what’s left and right? 🙂
that’s brilliant Harrie, I have definitely often come across ‘the other left’… 🙂
Thank you, and let me reveal to you, if you haven’t noticed it for yourself, first photo is turned upside down 😉
You’re welcome. 😉
Thanks… yeah, i didn’t notice that! 😛
Just me playing around, fitted the words…. 🙂
It’s nice. 😉
I’m “following” now your blog. 😀
Thank you so very much!
what a wonderful blog. You have a great eye, and your photos of spectacular landscapes like these, and more mundane sights are equally good.
Thank you much for your beautiful comments and the follow!
