Weekly Photo Challenge: In the Background (II)

Sunrise and Fullmoon

Flaming sunrise colors
calling us awake
night must withdraw
its dark blue cape

Mountain shadows
over sea and clouds
guided by the full moon
until also she will fade
into the background
and dust of day

Sunlit rocks in the foreground, moon in the background, great color, and the prefect crop for this photo, what’s not to like? Well done!

    • Malcolm, good to see you here. I’m not surprised you can feel this place. It was magical, it truly was. Never before or since have I looked at the full moon in deep early dawn while simultaneously watching the sun rise with such colors and slowly melting away the frost and grey blue night.

Beautiful photo – love the different textures of the craggy rocks and muted sea and sky. Thanks for dropping by my ‘morethanreading’ blog… Coral

    • Parasol! ;-D You are too kind! I’m at the brink of not knowing what to do with the awards myself… not as many as you, but getting close… phhuuiiyy, well, don’t ask me why, but I like dragons 😉 so I’ll just go for that one. I apologize deeply that it might be a wee while before I’ll catch up on forward-rewarding and give the thanks back to you, but, sooner or later…. 🙂 Thanks again!
