Thanks a mill, Lizbert! It sure is, seems like it’s what me and my camera is drawn to, constantly. 🙂
Wonderful cloud bank….so ominous
I’m quite fascinated by clouds and what they bring to an image, ominous in an exciting way, a bit like thunder and lightning….
Reminds me of an old fashioned locomotive – strong and steamy
That’s a great image, Leslie. Like it a lot!
Amazing view, great picture!
Thanks a mill, Iosatel! It was quite something to be in such a majestic place.
I think I might have thought that the sky was going to fall on my head, seeing such a bank of cloud approaching. Glad you held your ground though, to take the photograph and offer it to us here.
I have a soft spot for the elements showing off and I am thrilled when I can find myself right in the middle of it and let it wash through my whole body. I have photos of wild sea-explosions where I’m right there on the edge of the cliffs with, feeling the salty spray hit my face…. an example of this, my first photo of this kind: https://htfisker.com/2013/01/22/the-elements-showing-off/
and more in same stile…

The fog is really rolling in there. A beautiful shot.
It was, it was quite a wild and great feeling to be standing there watching it rolling across the valley.
