Laine Anne, thank you much. I sometimes like to go a tad to the more abstract side with a photograph, exactly as you describe as entering another world. There’s always a thrill of uncertainty in doing this, so your comment is appreciated.
I wrote a poem called Where Heaven Sleeps about a woman entering her dreams through a twilight world. I thought immediately of the poem when I saw this. If my schedule lightens up at work, I might return to write a short fantasy inspired by this photo. Would it be okay if I used it in my post if I do?
Laine, I looked for your poem, but couldn’t find it, I found others by your sharp and beautiful pen instead pulling me in, I would continue if I didn’t have to head out now. Your words really speaks to me. Would you mind sending me the link here, please.
It is more than ok, if you find words for a short fantasy along with a photograph of mine, I’m moved you wish to do so and will look forward to see it one day, if time opens up for you. Thank you.
I currently have the poem marked private. I’m sorry I should have been more clear. I will build upon the poem in the vignette and publish closer to Valentine’s day. Thank you so much. I will add a link to your blog with photo credit of course. The image is so inspiring that is makes me forget my busy work schedule this week ๐
Looking forward to read the poem by then, Laine. It makes my day, if a photograph of mine can remove, even if for a short time, ourselves from busy work schedules ๐
Love both photo and poem. It’s like entering another world just gorgeous.
