It was how it looked to me too, hence the title. I’m immensely glad it spoke to you in this way too. Iceland does seem alive in many mysterious ways…. Thank you for this wonderful comment.
Oh, this is stunning. I spent a week and half in Iceland last summer and was transfixed. You’ve captured the magic, the broodiness, the grandeur, and the mystery here.
Iceland does that to us. It’s a stunningly magical place. I keep going back there 🙂 Thank you so much, that’s a beautiful comment, it is exactly what I aspire to grasp just a snippet of through my photography and I’m deeply happy it transpires to the viewer.
Hanne, these phorographs are mind blowingly stunning. I can’t praise them enough. I am sorry I have somehow lost touch with your work – life and stuff just gets in the way and as I rush through life something happens to the quality of it. Then I stop and realize what’s happening. Perhaps you understand 🙂 Thank you for reminding me with your fabulous and beautiful images 🙂 xxx
Dear Rachael, thank you deeply for your heart warming and genuine words!!
There’s absolutely no need for any apology. I dare say it happens more or less to all of us now and again to lose quality in the run through the practicality of life, hence one of latest posts, being reminded by horses how essential presence is. I too found myself losing touch with too many creative spirits here on wordpress and with my own inner dreamer and creative side as well. Slowly but steady I’m catching up somewhat and finding my way back to play with the light and the dark and all the colors in between. So yes, I think understand you fully.
Beautiful escape!

I so hear you, Holly. I felt like that exactly. Trying to lure more creativity and inspiration out by ‘visiting’ Iceland 🙂
