Blogger Award, really? Really!

Holy Irish cow, I’m deeply honored and quite surprised to be seeked out for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. Blame The Seeker My gratitude to you, Thank you so much! Do look up the site, it’s full of ideas, thoughts, reflections, photos, great craic and fellow rule-breaker ideas, much appreciated!

The Rules:
Display the award logo.

1. Link back to the person who nominated you.
2. State 7 things about yourself.
3. Nominate 15 other bloggers for this award and link to them.

I’ve bend the rules just a wee bit:

Display the logo; check

Link back to the person who nominated me; definitely!

State 7 things about yourself; I’m a dreamer following Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, I rarely make plans, if I do I change them, I’ll go out of my way for a good espresso, sleeping often takes longer than I thought and I simply love a good piety single malt… 7, no?

Nominate 15 other bloggers and link to them; Big apology, I can’t. Not with honesty and integrity. I’m a new kid on the blog and simply haven’t been around long enough to have connected with the unique expression of 15 bloggers at this point. Instead I’ve carefully nominated 7 bloggers that all have touched me in various ways through a sensitive eye to the strength and simplicity of a photo telling a many-layered story, with the subtlety of poetry speaking with a longing voice with much life dwelling between the lines and last but definitely not least through a much appreciated healthy spark of humor reminding us not to take ourselves or anything else too serious: Below in no particularly order:

Holy…cow, this is too tame, πŸ˜† Well, WE just might have to introduce to the world. Good job and congratulations to you and your nominees. Now time for me check them out. Tata.

Great connections you have, BTW saldage is off the air. Thanks for playing with Hanne.

    • ah, thanks, they are to blame πŸ™‚ and yes, I found out, it’s such a pity, she had amazing photos and words. I enjoyed the game.

Yah, I used to visit her site, as well. I’ll think of another game in the future. I’ll go dig my Ireland photos and see how I can link up with yours. Another project.

        • That sounds great! The tab Emerald Isle is only photos from Ireland, you might enjoy some of them. They are untouched photo-creative-shopping-wise, however I am now and again picking out a photo to work with for a blog post.

  3. Thank you so much! Reading through your blog has made me want to do a few blogs about Iceland – I really hope you enjoy your visit there! πŸ˜€

  4. Congratulations, Hanne. I can see why you got the VIB award. I like the way you solved your “newbie” problem by only choosing 6 bloggers to pass it on to. I was nominated, too, recently, and may have the same issue considering I have only been blogging for the last 3 months. And now, your blog is taken, too.
Holy Irish Cow? Didn’t think the Irish considered cows holy but happy to learn something new every day πŸ™‚

    • Ah, thank you so much! The seeker is much (very!) the brain behind the idea of changing the rules a bit and it resonated with me. And huge congrats, wonderful to hear you got awarded. The cows in Ireland, nope not the least holy, it’s my own silly sense of humor and I have a cow on my first blog, I find them particularly curious and amusing here in Ireland. πŸ™‚
