Thank you much for this beautiful comment, Seonaid.
It was interestingly exactly the words I had in mind/felt, I even wrote them, but chose to keep them between the lines, “a return to source”, we think we’ve left, but never really has 🙂
I am indeed and yes, you could be very right, I find much resonance in wild untamed and untouched places. There are other places in the world of similar feel I’m drawn to, but for some reason nothing quite has the same effect on me as Iceland does.It always leaves me changed. It’s like it lives within. Parts of Ireland has similar resonance, hence I feel so at home there too.
Thank you much for this observant and reflective comment!
Yes, I totally understand as I am drawn to certain landscapes myself. I love lush rainforest environments and feel totally at home there; but I also feel at home in the more subdued and quiet woodlands of the Northern Hemisphere.
So Beautiful 🙂

I’m just an average Joe, but it takes nothing away from your poem. I thought it great.

If you say so, Joe (that’s me politely pretending I’m agreeing with the word average. You can keep Joe, though) And I’m still very happy 🙂
